The iP1 speaker system represents the cutting edge in industrial,
acoustic and electrical design. The most immediately striking
design element used on the iP1 is the 12mm thick museum-grade
polished sheet of acrylic in which the other components are
suspended.
The beauty continues within utilizing a highly efficient
class-D bi-amplified architecture which delivers a total
of 100 watts of crystal clear sound through custom designed
pairs of 4" honeycomb woofers and 1" silk dome
tweeters .
The woofers, employing glass-fiber cones and aluminum dust-cap
phase plugs, and the 1" tweeters were carefully matched
to the iP1's amplifier solution. Each material - fibers,
metals, rubbers, glue, resin - necessary to construct the
speakers was hand selected.
